| Zoe
is a full blooded Yorkshire Terrier needing
to find a new home. Her age is unknown but
the vet estimates between 5-12 years of
age. It is difficult to estimate her age
because she has never been properly taken
care of. Her previous owner would not care
for her so she asked for help in finding
a new home for her. Zoe has been taken into
a foster home where she will be loved and
taken to the vet to get her all ready. Zoe
was used for breeding so she has had several
litters of those cute little puppies for
sale in the paper and pet stores. Now its
Zoe's turn to have a loving home and not
be used to mass produce puppies anymore.
Zoe will be ready for adoption to her new
home the week of Christmas. Zoe weighs 6.8
pounds and is shy, but extremely loving.
This little girl wants a warm lap and a
loving heart. Zoe desires a home where she
can have lots of attention and someone to
assist with potty training. She would probably
do well in a home with another Yorkie or
other small dog who could help potty train
her and teach her how great life can really
be. Zoe would be fine in a home with older
children but since she has been through
so much, we do not recommend a home with
small children. She is current with her
shots and rabies, heartworm negative and
has been started on preventative but does
have bilateral eye infections. At this time,
she gets medicated eye drops in both eyes
4 times daily. After she completes her medication,
she will be just fine and then she will
be spayed. Her left hind knee pops in and
out some, but she does not require any surgery.
She gets around good, a little stiff at
times. Once she gains a little weight, she
will be spayed and have her dental done
and the vet says she will be a new dog.
At that time, she will be ready to go to
her new home. Her adoption fee is $350.00
and covers all of her vetcare. Zoe is available
for a local adoption only in Arkansas or
surrounding cities.
