| Rio
is a 3 year old female Native American Indian Dog. She is very sweet and loving
with her family and somewhat protective.
She is used to living with a male German
Shepherd and they play and keep each other
company. She weighs about 80 pounds and
is full grown. Rio needs to be re-homed
because her family only has a 4 foot fence
and she has learned to jump it. Rio is so
smart, when they put a radio fence collar
on her, she would stand at the point where
she could hear the collar beep and run the
batteries down and then jump the fence without
getting shocked. Rio needs a 6 foot privacy
fence to keep her safely at home. Rio has
lived with small children and has done well.
She is recommended with children a little
older as she will accidentally knock over
smaller ones because of her size. She is
not fond of cats so she needs a feline free
home. She does seem to have small prey drive
so it would be best if she was not in a
home with ferrets and other rodent type
pets. Rio is spayed, up to date on shots
and is heartworm negative and up to date
on preventative. Rio deserves a loving home
where she can become part of the family.
