Max is a smart mature Anatolian Shepherd/Great Pyrenees mix who was taken to a vet to be euthanized because the home he lived in had been put up for sale. The realtor advised his owners that it would be easier to sell the house without a dog. Thank goodness the vet saw something very special in Max and good samaritans got involved to bring Max to the DogsOnly program in Little Rock.

Max is currently living in a foster home and has been described as the most fun area rug ever. He is house trained, and gets along well with everyone. All he seems to want is good company, a nice hard scratch behind his ears, and someone to play with every now and then. He's one in a million.

At around 130Lbs Max is a large boy and needs a family that knows something about large breed companions.
